For All TF89, AR1000, and Beeman RS2 shooters

Maccari's new E9870 spring works well in these rifles. I installed one in my RS2 with a new seal and it is great. I used heat shrink tubing to tighten up the fit of the spring on the guide. It eliminated all vibration and twang. Internals were deburred and polished where needed and put back together will Maccari lubes. It was a definite improvementto this gun.

I got the seals from Compasseco. You have to call and ask for them. It was $18.50 shipped for 2. They were undersized so I had to warm the seal up with a hair dryer and put it in a clamp to expand it some. Then I sized it to fit. I must have done something right because it shoots very well so far. Unfortunatelty I don't have a chrony. But I would estimate 700 to 750 fps  in .22.

Yes the Compasseco seals are undersize. And so are most of the seals that come installed in the new models as well. If you have done your homework you should be getting over 800 fps from a .22. Using JSB's or RWS Superdomes

It would not surprise me if I am getting that or better from this gun. It is penetrating 1 1/2 inches into the duct seal in my trap at 25 yds. It was a good shooter from the start now it is even better. Shoots several types of pellets very well.Hates Beeman Silver Arrows. Likes Crossman CP's and Pedators the best.

Hmm. I got a replacement piston seal from Compasseco for my TF-89 last year, and it was definitely much larger than the original that came in the gun. Fairly snug fit in the tube. I recently pulled it out and resized it, but I got overzealous and unfortunately took too much off, so now it's as loose a fit as the original was.  Nuts!  I was hoping to get another one and try again, but if the seals are still running small, I guess I won't.   :0

You can expand the seal by warming it up with a hair dryer and putting in a clamp beyween to plates. Then size it. That is what I did with my new seal and it works great
