beautiful !! it appears to be a laminate of sorts,...how did you do the inletting ?

THANKS GUYS.It's 2 pieces of 3/4 cherry sandwiching a 1/4 in. piece of oak.Laminated with fiberglass resin.I increased the LOP by about an inch and a half and installed a nice and soft grind to fit butt pad.
The chevy is a '59 I just got done painting.

No,no it's just a lowly 283-4 barrel,2 speed power glide.But it is all original with only 67k on the ticker.I've had it for about 10 years and it's needed paint since I got it,so I finnaly got off my but this summer and shot it.I'm still getting all the trim on it,I'm almost back to driving it.
