anyone interested in a shoot in April in Fort Worth, TX??
« on: December 10, 2009, 04:06:34 PM »
Starting to think about the next shoot.  The last one on Oct 10 was great and the one on July 18 worked out well also.  Considering doing a two day event in case anyone would like to travel.  Just in the "acquiring data" stages but we are looking at max of 100yds (an yes there will be a gopher out there to pop, cowbells too!), lots of moving targets (read deer and shootin gallery). and a great group of people.  Room for at least 24 shooters (this can be increased to 30 or more if needed) at any given time.  And I promise to get the grills fixed so we don't have an unintentional fire issue!  Concept is easy...show up, shoot, pop paint balls, a little competition, eat (insert Houston big shrimp here),  have a good time!!!!  I can provide all of the tables and a few chairs.  Targets should not be a problem.  One restroom coed.  Possibilitiy of some awards for contests but don't hold me to it.

I'd love to make it down for a 2 day shoot.  It is a bit over 6 hours, but airguns are important!

I agree with Arnold.... airguns are important, I'm in as long as it's not the weekend
of the 11th I can make both days if I sleep in my van :emoticon:

I only eat things that had parents.

Been, and still am, out of work, so no surprise, money is tight.  But if I can swing it, and if Dano will let me use his couch again, I'm in :-).  An annual trip to Texas has started to become a tradition for me.  I even have a rifle that might get some use out of that entire 100 yards this time.  Later.

Well since you are that Arnold you are welcome to bring some of your extras that you wish to part with.  I will have at least one table setup for selling/trading and if MP does like he did last time there will be at least two.  Think of it as practice for the Little Rock show the following month.

Dave
Hope you can make it!  My backyard isn't anywhere as nice as the location last April but we will try to make it worth your while.
