Hey Jeff,I,m very happy,it will be tough to decide, witch gun,M-rod.22 or NPXL.22 to take when squirrel hunting,i guess i will just rotate, so one doesn,t feel left out.
i have one more gun to go,The M-rod pistol for hunting squirrel when i,m bowhunting,i,ll keep it in backpack.

I bought my XL with squirrels in mind as well, now I just have to wait until November for my season to open...  As for the Mrod pistol..... funny you should mention that  :) .... I've been eying that shooter myself for small gaming.  I got all excited yesterday when I saw that sportsmansguide was advertising the Mrod pistol and I was going to hit the order button.... but then I read further and saw that they didn't have it in stock yet  :(

I never planned to get the NPXL or any other nitro ,i just wanted the m-rod pistol, but, with a 2 month estimated delivery time ,i got reading here about the nitros, and being all i do is hunt, well i ordered the NPXL, and i,m glad i made that choice .It is so nice and i,m sure its powerful and great carving potential :) ,i can now relax and enjoy this gun until the m-rod pistol is available in July :)

Paul, I feel the same about my NPSS..:) Only thing I wish I could change is the stock. I am not a big fan of thumb hole stocks. But outside of that my MPSS is a real pleasure to shoot and can be extremely accurate if I am having a good day...:)

Congrats Paul. I think that as you wear it in and find it's favorite pellet, you'll like it even more. I know that's how it was with my XL.
