Checked out the Weaverville range and will probably find more out about the Hickory range in the next few weeks. Yesterday was fun and Allen posted a few pics with the story as follows:
This thing started out with a little bridge work. Most of the work at that time was being done by Mike and Matt.(Others were Supervisors)
John(the landowner)and Cecil decided to saw a few logs to make us a really good backstop. John has all the neccessary equipment to make the job easy. He made all of his resources available to us.
After a long day of working it was time for some shooting. This is where the show started. Cecil brought a good selection of his big bore guns, It was a treat for us all to see these and also get to shoot them. He was very generous to all of us.
J kept pulling guns out of his car. He had some radical stuff too.
Between Cecil and J, they are a wealth of airgun information.
Jshooting one of Cecils big bores. J looks like he means business to me. (sorry about the finger in the pic)

It's good to hear of a new place to shoot. If I can ever get into position to do some traveling to shoot ; I'll look them up. Thanks for the info. kirby

The rain and cold weren't real helpful either and I could have done with a heavier work coat instead of the old worn jacket. brrrr . . .:0
