Hi johnp...welcome to the GTA forum....I saw your post about your new RWS 350 Magnum also....congrats on your new purchase. As gunpug mentioned...I also think the PBA's are harder than the lead pellets....they might ruin the rifling in the barrel over time if used extensively....no data/reports on that yet.....
What there's data on is that the lighter PBA pellet will most likely ruin the innards of the springers i.e..spring, piston etc. There's a whole bunch of threads talking about that here. Especially with your RWS 350 Mag....the strong springer will take a beating from the PBA's.....and will probably result with less accuracy due to the pellets going supersonic....and add in the loud "bang".
I was lucky I didn't shoot any of my .177 PBA's that came with my 3 Gamos....info that I got off this forum. I'll most likely use them in my Crosman multi-pump pistol...the handgun is not as strong and no spring to worry about..... Stick with the lead pellets.
