Hey Guys, I am a newbie to this site. I was wondering if anyone has tryed NC STAR scopes on these slam-guns as I call em? I have sent an E-mail to the company to see if they have built their scopes to withstand airguns. I hope so they are really decent scopes for the price. I have four of them that I have aquired thru so much gun trading. I have had a 6-24x50 on a Howa,1500 300 wsm which is a whole lot of gun, made for hunting Elk,brown and Grizzly bear and even Elephant, and it packs a whallop! I had planned on putting My Nikon Monarch on it before deer season but the NC STAR has held up so good and has very suprising optics I think I will just leave the very expensive Nikon on My target rifle (custom Winchester model 70,pre 64) Well I didnt mean to get on here and talk bout firearms on a airgun site but I really want to know if I can use these scopes on a Gamo,Viper. I have had a few Leapers scopes and I definately like the NC STAR better but I know even the best scopes have to be made to handle the adverse recoil of an airgun. I will definately post the reply I get from NC STAR . I have searched there site for a airgun specific scope and have not found one,but the dealers at the gunshows have always said that every scope they make is built to handle anything from a pellet gun to 50 caliber. I would like to have a scope that compensates pellet drop just like this one scope I have on My AR-15 that compesates the 223 caliber round. Well I guess thats enuff babling on, I plan on starting My first tune on a airgun soon and then maybe I will have more to talk about. Jason
