Ok, Here's the deal,..or more like a question and hypothesis. My CDT TT'd Diana 34 (.22)has a very healthy buzz happenning!!! The rifle is Super to shoot, and is a real piece of quality made equiptment. Thanks a million Bob!I would guesstimate that it has no less that 5 to 6K rounds through it. Now for my question:::: Will a spent/worn outspringbuzz more than normal?!?! I've always listenned to my rifles when shooting, and the 34 always had a nice crisp pop to it. The buzz has been a gradual occuranceuntil lately. But, the one thing that has alwaysset me back with it is,.. that some pellets are very hard to seat in the breech. For instance,...if I load an RWS SD in it,...it will buzz abit. Same with some old Benji domes. JSB Exact jumbo's,...you guessed it buzzing again ( all three fit in the breech with less effort too). But with the Beeman FTS's( which I get the most consistant accuracy),... I really have to force the pelletshard to seat with a pel-seat tool,...as a result,...No buzz at all. The chroney shows a very nice fps consistancy,...so I don'tbelieve the spring has snapped. My Hypothesis,..#1....after cross referencing the "Straight Shooters pellet comparison charts"in the library, either I should trythe JSB Expresses, and the BeemanSilver Ace's which both fall close in weight and skirt diameter,...although the Beemans do step up a bitin grain weight,....#2 Change out the spring with the factory spring Bob returnned after the TT,...or option #3,.....bevel/crown the breech port a tad to fit a better variety of pellets. So what do you folks think?!?!? Thanks, Thomas
