Schmidty25 - 10/28/2009 10:08 AM Nice piece of wood, and nice inlays. I am assuming your going to do more sanding to round off the stock. Do you just sand that off? Bet that will take some time.
Josh,,, Yup Im gonna "Round" her off some!! ROFLMBO!!

This one will have an adjustable cheek piece with ambi monte carlo shape. Kinda funny,,, I brought it in last night to show the wife,,, she says: "Dad",, it looks real nice & the wood joints are perfect but it is a "Lil Clubby",,, you gonna round it off some?? I nearly died laughing!!

Yes honey,, I have not even begun shaping yet!! LOL!! Josh,, I use many differant tools for the shaping part,, stationary belt sanders,, hand held belt sander,, 4" hand held disc sander,, orbital sanders,, a dremmel with differant attachments, & several more tools. I resort only to hand sanding with several differant sanding blocks & assorted dowel rods wrapped in sand paper for the final shaping. Some day soon I hope to get myself a dupli carver of some sort to make my job MUCH easyer. I been looking at them online but unfortunatly they cost tween $1200 - $5000.

I will certainly get one soon,,,,, "Baby Steps"!!
