This doesn't qualify as hunting, but it sure was fun.Today I was dialing in the Barska red dot on my 2300KT custom,in my little indoor range. While shooting some decent groups I caught some movement from the corner of my eye.It was a little rat bastard about 12 yards out, just to the side of the ivy!I was shooting Crosman field/hunting pellets in .22,but wanted to wreck this little fur ball so I reached for the crow mags.I had about half a 12 gram left in the pistol so I figured It would be all clear for the shot.I slowly opened the window,as he was darting in,and out of the ivy,and waited. After about three minutes he came out,and showed me a side profile,so it was time.I put the red dot on center mass, squeezed, and was rewarded with a loud THWACK.The rat did a back flip about 8-9 inches off the ground, and was sent back into the ivy ass over tea kettle.I have yet to find the little bastard,so no pics guys...sorry.I'm sure he's somewhere in the ivy though. The pellet hit HARD so I'm pretty sure his ticket got punched........ :emoticon:
