I bought another QB 78T and I was very surprised this time with how it looked when I opened the box.. It has a very nice wood stock with no apparent bondo.. The stain is walnut in color and the grain is fantastic. I bought this one for r&d work for a new project I am working on but now it looks like it is a keeper:) Sorry Ed, I will not be selling this one..

My first QB 78T .22 that I purchased a year or so back was a bloody mess.. lol The wood stock was a dark stain with no wood grain at all which I found out later when I stripped to stain it that it had knott holes and was full of bondo....

So I painted it with black bedliner paint. I am sure most of you have seen it in my photo album.
This QB 78 is a beauty and will keep it and put a nice scope on it.. Probably will do some trigger work and a CDT medium mod which you can find in our Library or on CDT's web site.. It is a .22 but I think like my other QB, I can manage 650 fps or better out of it..

Maybe send it to Mike in Iowa for a ball buster tune..
