It gives a smoother cycle and can be spaced to adjust somewhat the velocity, once I get my breath back and have a bite to eat I'll get out to the shop and do some before and after readings with the stock spring and then with the Merlin...look for something later this evening...

Cool thanks Mike, If it can make one shoot smoother without a loss in power, I would like to have you put one in mine since your working on it today anyways.

I bought a B-26 and now a B-26-2 from MM in recent months both are excellent shooters and are real pleasure to shoot. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with, he shipped both rifles to me, before receiving payment. The B26-2 I had reservations about the high cheek piece, so Mike send me the tuned gun, on approval, shoot it see how you like it, the send it me the money order or send it back. How many people are out there in this day and age who would even consider that kind of trust, especially to a  stranger?

The B26-2 I took it over to my buddy's house who has a chronny set up, the rifle was shooting between the extremes of 704 and 715 fps every time, and this with just the first pellets going through it.
I shot about 50-100 pellets through it that day and the fps, did not move outside of that range, and was actually keeping very close to 711 on every shot.

I've also shot quite a few other rifles in the same price band as the B26, that my buddies have all recently purchased. The Gamo Big cat, A Winchester, A Hammerli, none of them were as quiet and as smooth to shoot as my gun. Or came as close to the accuracy either. So much so that everyone of my buddies were wishing they'd shopped with Mike rather than the store.

For the money i truly believe the MM B-26 is an unbeatable rifle.

I'm now wondering what my next gun will be, more than likely it will be coming from Mike that much is for sure!

I don't believe it's just hype, these are a truly great gun, especially considering the price point.

Band bang, pop pop, you\'re dead and I\'m not.
