I also discovered the screws in my stock to be SLIGHTLY loose, so I snugged em up. I ordered 4 tins of JSB Exacts, if these aren't any more accurate ill shoot em through to break in the gun and continue the search.
I got a Big Cat a week ago from Big 5. It was shooting pretty decent, even though the Gamo scope seems to drift. Last night (about 800 shots) I could not consistently hit a piece of paper from 13 yards. It was getting a little sketchy for indoor shooting. I thought maybe the spring went, even though it sounded and felt right. So I pulled the stock off, and the spring appeared fine. The fasteners holding the stock on did not seem tight, but they were not extremely loose either. After putting the stock on and snugging down the fasteners, I am grouping around the bulls eye again (actually better then ever). The Gamo scope also seems to be settling down, but the problem may have been the loose stock.
The inside did look well lubricated, and I did not notice any burrs or rough edges. I ordered a GRT-III trigger, so I will probably lightly lube the pivot points when I put it in. I have a Honda ST1300, and the Moly lube is used for the shaft drive when you pull the wheel off, so I happen to have some.
Anyhow, this forum has been very helpful, and I am now hopelessly addicted to airguns.
