Hey Guys,

I have eaten Armadillo, I thought it tasted like sweet chicken (my best comparison), but it was very good.

I can never understand those that turn up there noses at wild food, as most of these animals are cleaner than Chickens and Pigs ! And make a tasty meal.

Remember, There is a place in this world for all Gods animals, right next to the mashed potatoes !

Bill :-)

And gravy. Don't forget the gravy.

I'd eat it as long as it's cooked properly.

No thanks, I'd rather have rock dove. They're meatier than grackles. Although robin was a popular food bird at one time.
Beaver's good to eat. Makes a good BBQ.

Anyone ever eaten a snake before? My friend and I came up on one a while back, but we didnt have our guns and it just so happened to be a rattle snake about 5 coils high. Those people that say not to run from snakes are idiots. What else were we supposed to do?

Hey Gil,

I have eaten a GREAT variety of wild animals, except Grackles.

I have had fried rattler, pickled rattler, and raw rattler, all tasted good, the raw rattler was sweet ! and I still have his skinas my hat band !

Indeed, anyone who says NOT to run from a snake is an idiot.  They are generally VERY easy to grab if you are not scared, and time it right, but why mess with a venomous one?  Now, if someone is saying "don't make sudden movements if you realize you are standing OVER a snake" well, that makes more sense...

But yeah, Rattlesnake, I wouldn't stand there and try to negotiate.  Unless you happen to be Jimmy Carter and have experience with that kind of thing, in that case BY ALL MEANS, PROCEED

Who is Jimmy Carter? Is he like some kind of negotiator or snake wrangler? I do remember Ace Ventura wrestle an alligator down a waterfall...
And venom in my bloodstream is not good. Also I have always wondered if I could eat somebody if I had to. When they were already dead of course. I dont know though, for some reason I think human is salty.
