First post, regarding B20
« on: June 19, 2006, 05:41:19 PM »
First I'd like to say Thank You to Bob Werner (Charlie da Tuna) for all of his contributions to the sport of air guns and all the help he has given me just with his extensive knowledge. I hope he has an enjoyable and stress free retirement...

now for my question: I am curious, what are the diferences between the B19 and B20 powerplant? is the spring the same? is the spring guide the same? is the piston the same? what are the differences?

Not too sure about the power plants, but the B20 has the Reckord trigger which is much, much better than the stock B19 trigger.

I have been thinking of getting either one and I read a review comparing them and it stated the B20 has more power and better trigger.

There is quite a difference between the two. Robert is right (txairgunners). Other than the trigger on the B-20 which is far superior there is the following:

B20 = clone of Beeman R-9 -or- Weihrauch HW95 –or- RWS320

B18/19 = clone of GAMO 220/440/890 (Hunter series)
