Damo Stock is done....woooooo "AKA Daisy 131"

After allot of sanding and stripping I finally ended up with something half way decent. Had a hard time getting some dark area's out of wookd so I gave up.. This is what I come up with. And I think the proper name of this air gun should be as Vince stated "Damo" . It fits the bill.. lol..

Oh and I paid $48.00 for this rifle from Gun Broker. It had never been appart and did not look like it was shot that much. The stock had a few gouges and some water damage on the butt. It chronies in the low 500 fps.

Will be doing a lube and trigger tune on it maybe next week. Havd to see how bussy the Tuna is.. He gave sent me the trigger already but I need more instructions on how to put it in. lol

Hey, Gene, I don't see any dark streaks.  Maybe you need to clean your glasses :-) ?  That thing came out pretty good, I've seen some pretty decent walnut stocks that didn't have figure that nice.  Almost looks like dark stained tiger maple, although why anyone would stain tiger maple dark is beyond me...

I ended up using bleach to fade the streaks out. Dano suggested it. And it worked to a certain extent. Guess it is good enough to look at from a distance now..

I think it is plain ole pine... he he but could be beach wood.
