Gamo 440 Combo at Cabelas

Just bought one, looks good.  Haven't shot it yet but figure that someone else has already dealt with any problems.  Was ~$125 shipped.  Arrived in two days after they received my VOI. Sorry about the ugly link but it works.

You're welcome.  Going to finally remember to take mine home tonight.  They even threw in a nicer trigger lock for Michigan rules.

How did you find this?  I searched their site, and found no hits for Gamo 440 at all.  Discontinued??

Still glad you found it, thanks again for sharing.  (...I probably should have tried to get 3 or 4...) :)

OK, I'll bit (actually, I already bit) Hopefully I won't be disappointed. I'm a sucker for real wood stock rifles and I think this looks like a beauty. I can't believe its only selling for $105. If the specs are right, it has a $50 BSA scope on it too.

Looks like I found a new hobby.

Thanks for the encouragement Bill! I'm really getting stoked about getting this. I've already started thinking about a better trigger and the 1-piece Accushot scope mount. I may hunt with it down the line, when my 2 year old son gets older and I can start to teach him. For now, it will probably be target shooting, plinking, and possibly if we get a some really pesty varmints.

Never thought to Google it.  What did you type in?  "Gamo 440, bargain, Cabelas"  something like that? :)

Mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.  Already have a GTR-III sitting on the shelf for it, heh heh heh.

Getting too many rifles!  I'm going to have to buy scopes again!!!

Have a good one!

Just Google search for ' cabelas gamo 440 ' and it comes up at the top, in 'shopping results'. It has a price of $125, but when you click the link it comes to the page for $105.

Alternately, you can put the item number (OG-228178) in the search bar at Cabela's and it comes right up.

Plastic-shrouded barrels don't do it for me. You might not need a better mount... the 440 has a rail that accepts stop pins, and the scope stop that comes with it has such a pin. With the scope stop properly mounted I don't think that even cheap mounts will creep on you...

In any event $105 is a super price for the gun.
