Gamo Refurb Big Cat 1200 @ Cabela's

For $89.99 w/ 4X scope and mount. Even if the scope and mount aren't worth a darn that's not bad for the rifle. Could make a good candiadate for a tune up and a GTX trigger. It has the polymer covered barrel and no iron sights so a scope/ red dot of some kind is mandatory. I hope the link I posted works. On a lighter note, if you want a good read, go to Gamo USA's website and read the reviews posted of this gun. One person claims 3 in groups @ 165 yards! C'mon. Possible yes. (anything technically is possible) Probable, highly unlikely.

 That's a good deal. Big Cat's just a shadow in different costume.

 I've been real happy with mine with the Tuna trigger and Centerpoint scope, especially since breaking it in with a couple of thousand shots.

Parks is right Nathan. The BC is basically the same gun without the frills. I didn't even like mine until it wore in. It's a fast gun with plenty of juice. Great groups but a tune would make it even better. Toss the scope and rings (mine came with rings at Academy Sports) and get a  one piece with a better scope. Gordon, I have a stock 392 and have always enjoyed shooting with it. You should em WesCombs about the tune he had performed on his. I think Mac1 did the work. These are great little guns to shoot with, and  plenty of power to hunt, right out of the box. But a tune will surely improve it further. The one thing that I wish was better on them is the trigger,....a little heavy, but not to worry, they can be worked on too!! Check out Mack's web sight in the mall section of the GTA Forum.
