Eric, Based on alot of feed back I've read on the subject, I personnally wouldn't bother with the ram air piston guns unless it were a higher end gun like the theobins and such. But that's just a matter of opinion from my readings. As for the kits, for all I know it's pretty much hit or miss. Springs have been around a lot longer than the new technology, but have proven themselves over the test of time. Also, these kits are mass produced so they may work better on some types of guns than on others. My advice would be to get a gun of your choice, and get it tuned!! Most tuners I've encountered will spin a custom guide to fit either an after market spring and seal, or simply the factory set-up,.... and lube the weapon with the correct lubricants in all the right places. There are many well known and respected tuners here on the GTA forum, and I'm sure they will give you the best advice available. Good Luck, Thomas
