Looks like my shooting will be on hold for awhile.  Woke up this morning to 10 degrees on the thermometer, and that wasn't Celsius!  And I have to work in that!  And I've been too busy to do anything about firewood, so my shop feels more like a meat locker for now.  Finally, add in the end of Daylight Savings Time, and it's just about dark by the time I get home anyway.  How's that for a nice string of lame excuses :-) ?  Hopefully, things will be better next week, my little brother is comeing over this weekend, so I'm hoping I can draft him to help with the firewood situation.  Of course, there IS snow in the forecast...

I had an employee once who called me and told me he could not come to work because his dog chewed up his work boots... After a breif conversation with him , he was at work within 30 minutes...  Dave you are getting very close to the record excuse.. he he he he

I had an employ's wife that called me one morning. She told me that there was no way she would let him out of the house that morning. She said he had an erection and she would be dammed if it was going to waste. He was 66 at the time, so I told her that I expected him to be there tomorrow. I never said a word about it to anyone. I just excepted him for what he was>(a great worker)

I'm socked in with bad weather. Rain and wind. Suppose to last for another 8 - 10 days.  Does this event hold every week?

You can always go out to the old mill sight and shoot in the remains of the kiln.:p
