Charlton Heston's Gun Collection
« on: October 10, 2008, 11:20:36 PM »

One of our members Peter aka "Old Hunter", asked me to show these pictures of the late Charlton Heston gun collection.

For those who don't know Charlton Heston ... he's the actor who played Moses in the movie 'The Ten Commandments' and played in

Ben Hur and countless other movies too.

He was an avid gun advocate ... now I can see why.

The Late Charlton Heston's Basement

Holy Cow! Mr. Heston had enough armaments to equip an Infantry rifle company.

I like the North American Aero Commander he had parked in the driveway too.....

I came across these pictures a while ago. Sadly they are not Charlton Heston's =( They belong to a gun collector in Connecticut named Bruce Stern who passed away in 2007. Here is a detailed article about it and also about what type of guns he had.

Oh well, as it has been said many time before:

That darn Snopes spoils everything.
