Well all my Gamo's love RWS Superdomes. Either .177 or .22's. I pulled down my newest S1K for a little paper punching on Friday morning. Was practicing shooting with both eyes which I mentioned in an earlier post on the main forum.
Well I was shooting all around the bulls at 40 yards. About a two inch pattern with the RWS Superdomes. So I checked everything and actually thought my idea of shooting with two eyes open was a fallacy.. But went back to one eye and the same thing was going on. All around the bulls but not inside a 1 inch pattern. So I took out a new tin of Superdomes and opened them up thinking I might of got a bad batch. So I started shooting with the new tin. Same thing again. So I tried with my older S1K and they were hitting right on the bulls almost every time. Then I changed scopes and same thing. Changed mounts and same thing.
Hmmmm, was running out of options I thought. Well I had bought a couple tins of JSB Exacts a couple months ago to try out in my Gamo's and they did not work well in any of my .177's or .22.
To make a long story short...

I popped in a pellet and shot one off. It hit to the right of the bulls but on the line. So I kept shooting and dang if those JSB's were hitting dead center after a scope adjustment. I must have shot 50 more and all of them were punching the red dot out of the targets.
So this confirms what I have always believed. Two alike models of springers don't always like the same pellets.

Only down side is that now for this S!K, I have to buy JSB's..... lol
