Going full circle.
« on: October 27, 2008, 11:01:19 AM »
I've sold both my custom target stocks and I'm replacing them with factory sporter stocks. My primary uses for my airguns are plinking and shooting hunter style field target. I still had two rifles set up with factory stocks , so last match I took one of my carbines dressed in a factory beech stock to the match just to see the difference . I shot a 37 out of a 54 , which is my normal range , but I had dropped 6 out of 8 points on the first two lanes , which are usually easy shots because I changed my scope at the sight in range 6 clicks up in elevation on a windy range. I took the 6 clicks back off and started nailing them. The sporter stocks weigh less too. I've got another factory beech stock coming this week. I hope she's a pretty one. I now wished I hadn't sold the two walnut ones I had before , they were a couple of nice ones. Live and learn. I'll post a picture when it gets here. kriby
