Gamo 1250 and Hunter extreme..The same?
« on: November 10, 2006, 11:16:48 AM »
Is there any appreciable difference in power between the two or are they the same basic rifle? I am looking to get a magnum air rifle but the possibilities are overwhelming. Much to difficult to make a decision on any one rifle. Every time I think I found "the one" I find another. Thanks for any info

Hey Fishawk

I would bet that they both share the same power plant but the Extreme is only made in a .177. The 1250 was made in both cal's but you would be hard pressed to find a .22 in a Hunter 1250 here in the US. The RWS 350 .22 would be your second best choice in a springer. If you have read Jeff's post on this forum, he gives and excellent explanation of the difference of both models.

Good luck

Little confusion, there, Jerry.  Gene meant that Jeff owns both a Gamo 1250 and Diana 350 in .22.  Hope that helps.

Dave

PS I have a 350 in .22, great gun, but I really have to concentrate to shoot it well.
