Well the videos have came to a end..

The wife let my Stepson and his girlfriend use the cam...She accidently dropped it...kaput... SOOooooooooooooo first of the year at least....

That's a real bummer Brent...I love your videos...Maybe I can borrow my sons cam and make a road trip for a video day...Gainesville to Jacksonville's only an hour drive and gas is still coming down

NOOOOOOO,  say it ain't so.  Those videos were a regular part of my week.  I suppose it could've been worse, at least it wasnt you b51.  The newer technology on video cameras will blow you away.   Go shoot a tree rat and feel better.

That`s why I always insist anyone who picks up my rangefinder, camera and binoculars etc to use the strap...either on their neck or wrist.  I follow this tip from my uncle who`s abit of a photo buff.....he have over a dozen cameras....lots of them over $1000.00U.S not including the lens and what-not.  The last camera he had me use was over $5000.00U.S.....body, lens and flash.  I took the required family pics and carefully placed it in the center of the table.  heh heh

So, is your stepson`s gf going to get you another camcorder?   Wishful thinking......   Sorry for your loss btw......and ours!!!!!

Had me pretty *_*_*_*_*_*ed/bummmed out also...The girlfriendand her mother ordered another cam like it but I asked them to cancel the order...Had to get my wife to call them before they'd agree to cancel...I never liked the cam anyway and would not like another..I thanked them for it and begged them save their money as I was never happy with the cam anyway..Come Tax return time Im pondering either...

I don`t know anything about camcorders/cameras....but those 2 Casio`s look expensive....and their pixels and fps (frames per seconds) are way up there!!!!!

Brent, I have the FH20 and love it, and its relatively well priced for the features.  Good choice.

Very interesting on the Casio digital video camera.  It is amazing how fast the technology changes.  Only middle of the road digital still image quality, but the high speed video - wow.  And now 40 Gigs on a relatively inexpensive SD Card!  We should have something to look forward to soon.  The last time I shopped digital cameras (I guess a couple of years ago, now)  buydig.com had the best price on the Olympus E-500 I ended up with.  I checked, though, and they didn't list the new Casio (yet).

Tommy...Id read that also aboutimage quality not beingup to snuff for a cam in that price range...I REALLY like the FPS for the great slo-mo shots but image noise was the reason I disliked my old cam..I have a good bit of time to choose so im reading up..
