Laserlyte bore sighter

Anyone have any experience with the Laserlyte bore sighter? I saw one (or something like it) at walmart today for $40. I'm not sure if the exact brand is Laserlyte but it looked interesting. If anyone would have any advice on this that would be helpful :) I don't get to shoot much and I'd like to keep the sighting in part to a minimum.

I use mine to sight in between 10 to 20-25yards max. It give you a ballpark idea where the pellet will strike, if its on target or not. IMO anything furtheryour pellet begins to rise.Check Natchez Shooters Supply, last time I looked it was $34.99.

You really don't need a bore sighter to sight in a rifle I have a very easy way to do this. 1 take the rifle and using a rest (not free hand ) fire one round then using the same sight picture fire a other round. if the holes are in the same place or real close you are ready. now take the rifle and set it up so it will not move and go to the same sight picture you had when firing the 2 rounds.now you use the adjustment knobs on the scope to move the cross hairs till they are on the pellet hole . you are now sighted in. now wasn't easy.  fire one round to confirm to sight in. howie

Its a waste of time on an air rifle. I only use it for firearms that use expensive ammo. It will get you within 4 inches at 100 yds. just my 2cents.

Its not a laserlyte but If you really want a bore sighter, I don't think you'll find it any cheaper then here right now. $19.99

Thanks for all the advice guys. I just decided that sighting my airgun without a laser sight wasn't too hard after doing some shooting today. Kinda hard justifying spending 40 bux to save 5 minutes :)
