CONDOR SHOT STRING
« on: November 29, 2008, 03:19:44 AM »
Yesterday at the indoor 16 yard range I was able to shoot a 100 count shot string with no POI drop with a 2000 psi fill . From 100 - 110 it did drop 1/4 of a inch . I think that's pretty good for a .177 rifle that will average 33 FPE with the 16.1 grain pellets as well . When I can catch a day that's not to bad I will see what happens out side at 25 and 50 yards as well. I do have a Talon tank on the way so between the two tanks I might not have to take the scuba tank with me all the time . I have the Discovery dialed down to do between 80 -100 shots as well so between the two rifles that should give me a lot of shots in a setting . Time will tell I guess. Marvin

Marvin I see the point you are making here to those that have always thought of this rifle as only a high power hunter . It can be a dual purpose rifle is stock forum . The 10 percent deviation is not that important for close  range target practice as you have shown in your chrony testing  . And it has the ability to get  a high shot count at a low fill rate . Please to any one that reads this do not take this thread as a trolling line but some one has to give info to those that are in this hobby so they can make wise decisions on their own . Marvin
