Valor pellets?
« on: November 22, 2006, 05:42:25 AM »
Anybody had any experience with these?

http://www.dauvensfishinhole.com/8010120.html

I got a couple of boxes recently. They seem to be light (under 7gr in .177, under 13 in .22) but they look pretty uniform. I haven't tried them yet, hopefully I will over the next couple of days.

Made in Argentina, BTW

I've never heard of em but hey, for that price what do you have to lose.  I tried the link a couple of times but the picture of the pellets didn't show up.  I'll try again later, for that price I'd order a tin or two and give em a try.  Let us know how you like em.

I got 'em on a lark. Actually it was on a UPS truck. If nothing else, I figgered I could use 'em as "run-in" pellets for breaking in either a new a gun or one that had just been serviced.

Given their apparent uniformity and light weight, they might make a good pistol pellet.

...sorta. I posted a review in the "Pellets" section under "Product Reviews".

Please read before purchasing, or if the review is too long - just look at the pictures. You'll get the idea.
