Finally! I have been waiting about 3 months for this squirrel and finally got rid of him today. He climbed in a pine tree about 65 yards away, yes 65 yards. I have my gun zeroed in for 20 yards, but also know that at 50+ yards my gun shoots 3 mil-dots high. So, I put the 3rd mil-dot on him, and squeeze the trigger gingerly. I heard a VERY loud THWACK, and he drops to the ground DRT. He didn't flinch at all. He is a good size, been waiting a long time to get a clear shot on him from this distance. Also, once again the kodiak went all the way through him. So far, 65 yards is now my longest shot for a squirrel or bird. And here are pics!
Dead, as he fell. Notice the EXIT woundin the middle of his back about 3/4 of the way from his head; this is not the entrance wound.

Here is the entrance wound, quite a mess.
