PCP owners LOOK WHAT I FOUND
« on: December 10, 2008, 06:05:01 PM »
Came across these while looking for a new tank.
They use them for filling scuba tanks at the shops.
And they are HALF the prise you pay for them from
a air gun shop.
Would think it would be the same over there!
Here they are around $250 from a gun shop
the one in the pic from a dive shop is $109

Power wise the Evanix has it all over the Career the Evanix is puting out
65ftlbs with a 29grain pellet & career 35ftlbs with a 16grain but a 29gr
is to heavy for it.
with the Evanix you can't use anything under 20/22 grains to light
and go super sonic ,it will toss a 16gr better than 1400fps

I have not had alot of time with the career but I thinkit is a more user freindly
gun and it tosses preditors at around 1100fps.
Has 3 power setting 400fps / 900fps / 1220fps
where the Evanix is full power thats it.
but the new ones are ajustable may be better.

both guns are noisey but the Evanix really needs a hush device on it
thank god they are legal here.

For BRUT power the Evanix is the one.
Buy I would recommend the Career  .22
it is short in the stock so a packer at the but pad
may be nessacery if you are a long armed type.
its nicer ballanced and lighter than the Evanix.
