The average of the fist 100 shots was 931 fps . The average of the last 100 was 685 fps . The average of all 200 was 808 fps . POI stayed the same until around shot 150 and total drop was about half inch . I gained 40 shots over the 2000 psi fill but air consumption was higher . The average air per shot rose from 8.75 to 11 psi per shot . The striker over rides the valve so there is no real sweet spot with this tank . I raised the fill pressure a 100 psi at a time until I reached 2800 psi and the fps just kept rising as the fill pressure rose . I will probable try a lower fill rate that 2000 psi just to see  what will happen . But now I know what to expect for shot counts in the future . This might allow me to leave the scuba tank at home some times and that would be a blessing when I am on the motorcycle .Marvin

That's pretty good consistency from shot to shot!  Looks very close to what my Condor .22 does at the lowest power setting starting at around 1,000-1,020fps (2500psi fill) with 21gr Kodiaks.

So this is from a Talon tank used on a Condor?  That's actually pretty good but why would you want to go down to the 500-600fps?  Are you just target shooting?  What pellet did you use for these strings?  A JSB or 14.3gr?

You said the POI only shifted 0.5" from shot 1 to shot 200.  What was the range to the target?  20yds?  At 35yds, my POI starts shifting after about 35 shots but I normally use heavies.. 21, 28.4, 30gr (Eleys) and 32gr SamYangs.  After 55 shots (low-mid 800's) I have almost a 1/4" POI shift.

Harry this is a .177 Condor and I was using CPH 10. 5 pellets . The range were I shoot at during the winter is 16 yards indoors so that is the yardage of this testing . Yes during the winter I will use the rifle for target only and really during the summer I will use it mostly for 50 - 100 yard target use . The way I see it is the more I use the same rifle the more a custom to it I will be and the chance of me being able to do my part at 100 yards should improve . This rifle has gotten a bad reputation as far as being a over kill and not worthy of being a dual purpose rifle . I am just playing around and getting use to this rifle . And hope others will see it can be a good all around rifle . If you look at my first chrony numbers you will see even with the condor tank and a low fill of 2000 PSI it did quite well  IMO . There is not much info on a .177 Condor on any of the sites so I am just having fun seeing what the rifle will do and giving the results out so may be some one else will benefit . Marvin

Good job Marvin.  I think the Condor can definitely hang in there with the AA 400/410 and others in a match competition.. with a good stock/grips on it..  When I first got it, I had a new groundhog burrow entrance about 21yds out from the back of my house.  So I zeroed the gun for 21yds and practiced in case he stuck his head out.  Anyway I was shooting Kodiaks in the same hole over & over at that range which is not much, but I 'm talking most of the time you could not tell the difference after 3 shots.  It still looked like a .22 hole.  Maybe on the 4th or 5th shot, the hole got just slightly bigger.  At first I was wondering where all the pellets were going until I saw the hole get a little larger.
But even at 35yds I can get 1/4" groups with all 5 pellets touching if I do my part and manage 0.5" groups at 50yds without a lot of effort.  I can see doing better with lower velocities and .177 heavies at 30,40 & 50yds, but for 80-100yds I think you will need much heavier pellets to be consistent.  The 10.5 grain's trajectory is easily going to be affected by light wind unless it's a completely calm day.  Also the .22 pellet's BC would be much more beneficial for long range target shooting.

I have shot the Eun Jin 16 grain pellets and they were doing 1000 fps with the P.W. on 10 . But I have ordered a Corbin swagger that will allow me to press my own pellets from 7 - 32 grain from one die . And I don't know about that .22 B.C. stuff. Now that I can make my own pellets at what ever weight I desire . You know they make 1/4 mile race cars narrow and long and circle burners short and wide for a reason . Then again what do I know .  I am just a old buzzard trying to have some fun .Marvin
