looking for info on a beeman,
« on: November 26, 2006, 07:03:28 AM »
I  found in a pawn shop. On the top it had beeman 0035. Do not remember if it had an address on it, it was made in spain. It had some rust on it, did not appear to be pitted  though. What model is it? Is it worth $70? TIA Mike

I believe it's the Beeman GS-700. GS stands for Gold Series. The GS are all made in Spain. It's their low end air rifle selection.

Well, if you havn't purchased it yet, I'd pass on it. I had a GS950 and a friend has a GS1000. They are not bad, but not near as accurate as many, many other air rifles. I think they would take a lot of work to get shooting good. You might look into a Webley Xocet  in .177 if your looking for a sweet shooter at a low price.
