GRT-III triggr.
« on: December 13, 2008, 02:01:32 PM »
Just installed it, in my CFX,

Big difference!!!!!!

I thought the OEM trigger was fairly adequate, but a few shots with the GRT is eye opening.

Much better with the GRT
Very easy to install.
It was a little weird having parts left over.

I know what you mean about eye-openning Jerry. The first time I shot a rifle with the golden trigger, it startled the heck out of me. Definatelly wasn't expecting such a smooth and light pull! Now you're on you way to some serious shooting!!!! Best of Luck, tjk

Yes Jerry, there sure is a difference !

If not for Bob, CDT, I would have given up on Gamo all together, I hated that factory trigger !

Now I enjoy the heck out of my Gamo, it made it fun to shoot !

Just walked in from the backyard, and shooting a few dozen pellets.
That trigger is really light, and smot.
Once I settled in and got the overall feel of it. wow!!!!!

Shot some more bottle caps at 100 ft with fixed sight.
Even though I missed more than I hit them, even the misses were right off the edge of the caps, so almost all of them would have got a squirrel in the noggin. If not, he would have needed stitches, or had some big ear piercings.

Accushot one pice scope gets here tomorrow. That should be like surgical shooting at 100ft.

Did I mention I like this gun more, and more all the time.
I can't get over the consistency.

Welcome Jeff! You will love it. I have put three of them into rifles. What a difference they make.

Got it and installed it. NO problems what so ever and it is just awesome.  I was shocked at the differance from the stock trigger.  Why Gamo doesnt fix that problem I dont know.
