He dropped like a fusebox shot, but the entry wound says it was most likely a hit to the spine with no exit wound.  R9 GF / .20 cal with Beeman FTS, 27 yards.  No fuss, no muss.

Wow you 're on a roll Tommy!  Good shooting.  Spine shots work great when you can get them..  The R9 is beautiful as usual and looks even better with a lounging nutter on it :-)

So the kids come over today and bring the granddaughter.  I am having a Modelo N. with the son-in-law, and I spy another visitor.  "Stephen, come upstairs with me."  It's almost 70 today, so the window is still open. I load up another 20 cal FTS, hand the R9GF to the boy and tell him the scope is dead on for 25 yards.  He only took one shot, but it was a good one.

BTW Tommy,,, went out huntin  with Joe today for several hours.  He said you wanted some pics of the snow so we took a bunch of pics of me and Joe searching the snowy woods for critters..   Will be postin the story and pics a little later......

A little carnuba wax on the wood and buffing afterwards does wonders to the looks of the gun

Hmmmm. . .  has someone been moderating my pics?  I must be getting "old timer's" -- didn't notice the switch until Gene pointed it out to me.  At least they switched the R9GF for a TF 89 and didn't switch the nutter for a polecat.
