Shroud - Muzzle Break Purpose?
« on: December 23, 2008, 01:07:53 AM »
I keep seeing pictures of custom shrouds and muzzle breaks on QB78s.
Is there a function for these add-ons?
Or is it just for looks?

Depending on the material, they can be useful as barrel weights.

the main purpose of a break is to direct the flow of the gas behind the pellet so it doesn't disturb the path of the pellet, a shroud does the same thing in most cases............
