Christmas Eve Hunt
« on: December 24, 2008, 11:02:04 AM »
The past few months I have been working with little time off. Yesterday was my last day of work for the next four days and I immediately jumped at the chance to get in a little hunting. So I got up at six this morning and headed out. I took my Gamo 850 and my daisy 1000 both shooting Tomohawks. I took both squirrels using the 850, it is a lot lighter than the daisy and more comfortable to carry. The first squirrel I took at about 20 yards hitting him right behind the shoulder. The second squirrel was taken at 10 yards and as you can see it was a clean head shot. On the way back to my truck I almost stepped on a cottontail that was sitting a few yards away. All in all it was a good day. I plan on going back out friday morning and hopefully it will be as good a day as today was.

Thanks Guys! I live in Rocky Point, NC. I am heading out again in the morning so if I am lucky I will have some more pics to share with everyone. I am going to use the daisy 1000 this time.
