What date have you all planned on having this Event? If it is not raining or snowing I would love to come and meet all of you.

Fletcher? I worked there for years, at Diamond Brand. I was just there too, doing a little last minute Christmas shopping.

-glad I found this again. You guys let me know when you're up around asheville. I have a little space to shoot. -nothing fancy, but lots of treerats and cottontails; not to mention the occasional turkey, fox, coyote, and bear!
Again, let me know what I can do to help out in Newton!

Rootin' Tootin' Newton Shoot In.

I asked my wife (finally) if she would help me with putting this event on.

She agreed glady. (She's a keeper).

Most days are just too cold right now and they're just going to get colder in the months ahead.

So, I'm thinking this Spring. Maybe May.

I'm going to rent some tables for shooting benches or build some. We should be able to shoot in about three different directions. Toward the back of the deck, toward the side of the deck and from the back lawn into the woods. I will be able to set up targets from 10 yards to 100 yards I figure.

I may have food catered in. Although my wife is an excellent cook. Probably will cater in lunch and have snacks and sandwiches all day.

I would appreciate your input on what else I need. This is the first shoot I have sponsored or even been to.

I'll start a new topic in this catagory as soon as things come together. I'll need to RSVP everyone to know how much food to have.

We look forward to seeing everyone here that can attend.

Rob

I'll do what I can to help as I am also in Newton.

I don't think we will be able to do anything about the Squirrels in the spring though, the season will be out and they will have little ones then. If you need some pest control now, just let me know and I will
start as soon as I can. What are friends for....?

Yeah Man! The kids are out of school and I have to babysit until next week. Squirrel season is in until January 31st. We can shoot eight each per day. I go back to work January 12th. Maybe we can do our part to control the tree rat population before I go back to work. Let me know if you can come over the week of the 4th. Ok, let me ask mom if I can come over and play then.
I should be able to, unless I get service work gets in the way.

Mom said as long as I get my homework done, I can come over.
