Well I just finished my first round of home tunes and will tell you first thing I learned is be Just kidding its not to hard. Start by getting a big open area so you can lay stuff out as you pull them apart,*use a spring compressor*, make sure you deburr all the slots cut into the spring area or it will slice your new seal when you try and put it back in, wear protective glasses and latex gloves, polish both ends of spring, clean throughly with goo gone then lubricate as per instructions in the library then reassemble. This is a bare bones tune and seems to have worked fine in mine. What gun are you tuning? If it is a Shadow 1000 to get the new seal on, warm it in some hot water until it is kinda soft them slip it over a 7/16 socket then while it is hot slip it on the piston,(thanks guys for this tip!). This is just how I did it and I am no expert I'm sure some of these other guys will give you some advice.
