1 fat red squirrel and a reg grey rat

This morning there was about 5 squirrels all around my feeders. I opened my screenless window very slowly and they all started for the woods. It was a very cold morning so I set up a space heater before my first shot. Now that I have warm air blowing on me as the window is open, I loaded my first pellet into my cfx. Magnified that first grey tree rat 16x from 40 yards,thwapt!! down goes one squirrel. He did a back flip and I knew he was a gonner. Reloaded my cfx again for a red squirrel this time but he kept moving around. This rat was hopping from branch to branch. So I just watched  him threw my glass until he stop to flip his short tail for a rat that size and Thwapt! Down went that second rat. I went to retrieve my rats and couldnt believe how fat this red one was yet he had a little itty bitty tail... Here are some photos. enjoy.

P.S. After CDT turbo tuned my cfx, it has been very consistance killing rats/rabbits/pigeons all in one hit with my scope.

NICE SHOOTING!!! Nice pics too. Were did the pellet enter the each unwelcome guest?

Very nice indeed !!  Great shooting and a great picture!!  You're lucky to have both species of squirrels where you live,,,, twice the fun :)

Was just wondering,,, what pellet were you using?

Nice to see you baggin them tree rats with you CFX. It is a dang good hunting rifle for them small game cridders.. :)
