think it is a good idea however, it is something that will need to be weighed and if it does come to pass it will be at least a couple of weeks before we would/could initiate it.
One consideration that some may object to is that it might require that any intended post be submitted and evaluated (to protect the interest of others) by the moderator, Gene and myself prior to being published to the forum. Post replies of course should be no problem. Again, just a thought.
Also, regarding the considering the selection of the moderator. That person is someone that would need to be carefully evaluated by both Gene and I (and perhaps another person) as it would carry some additional responsibility over and above a general forum moderator from a technical point of view. At this point we are at the membership discussion stage which is good and any and all input by you as the membership is appreciated and valued so let’s hear it.
