Bought a Storm XT at the local Wal-Mart in the .177 cal.
Started reading the post here and got interested in doing the home tune.
Order the lubes and seals from JM and a spring for my Gamo Viper.
Started with the Storm XT,out of the box the fps with CP dome 7.9 was 802-905 this was after 500 pellets.
After a clean, deburr, hone and lube put the it back together with stock spring and one of the Small Apex seal.
After 20 pellets the fps was 794 and after 50 rounds it had increased to 822 stable for 3 shoot in a row.
I look for it to increase a little more as the seal gets seated in.
I did not take a pic of the compression tube but it had a lot of trash in it from the production line and I do mean a lot.
I am going to start on the Big Cat and Viper next.
Waiting on UPS to arrive Monday with a B26.
