This gate has not been open very long but it seems to me that there are people here who would really like to improve their formal shooting skills.  There also appear to be people on the forum who are competitive shooters who have spent quite a bit of time honing their skills. Riflejunkie has already given some first rate instruction.  Trouble is....it is steadily streaming down the page out of sight.....  What I would like to suggest is for plans to be made for the development of a target shooting library.  Articles could be carefully written to address issues that are going to keep coming up and to address those things that are fundamental to seriously developing shooting skill. There is a lot of non airgun information available out there as well which might be very useful. Such a library could be developed gradually and from multiple sources. I think this would give the target gate a lot of strength...help it grow from a solid foundation.

Excellent idea, Charles, I couldn't agree more.  Hey, Gene, I know there are some dead links in the Library, how about a little house cleaning to make room for things like Charlotte's excellent "Offhand Shooting 101".  I've already printed it out and tacked it up in my shop next to my shooting bench.  I'll bet there's gonna be more where that came from :-).  Later.
