Bought a new Gamo today for the airsenal - Black Shadow Supreme in 22 caliber

 got a sweet deal too on Gun Broker for $149 plus $12.50 shipping. can't beat the price for a new Air Rifle.  the gun comes with a scope but i have no use for that as i plan to add iron sights as soon as i get the rifle. I have a MENDOZA peep for the rear sight and for the front i am going to try and use the pickle with FO sight I removed (and replaced) from my CFX. It should fit and work just fine. and it will look damn fine too.

hey jmlv, just finished up an hour long target shooting session with my black shadow .22, had a blast.  I had the rifle sighted in at 20 yards and decided to resight it in for 30 yards.  Only had to make a couple of minor scope adjustments and within minutes had that little rifle shooting dead center bulllseyes at 30 yards.  My rifle just loves RWS Super HP's and Crossman Premium Pointed pellets and gives tack driving accuracy with those pellets.  Beeman Crow Magnums group vey tight in my gun also, but for some reason their POI is always about an inch to the right of dead center. You're gonna love that gun. Have a good day

I just got my new Black Shadow .22 a couple weeks ago but have not cleaned or shot it yet. Now I have an idea that that was a good purchase...... he he he

One thing nice about the Black Shadow is it has a scope dove tail on top the barrel, unlike the S1K which has the grooves built into the barrel.

I got a .22 Shadow Supreme comming in tues. I can't wait now by reading these posts.

Got go to to the pellet store monday and see what they got in .22 and .20 caliber pellets.

I think the Shadow supreme is of the slightly higher quality line like the Gamo 440. the shadow seems to be more in line with the economy model 220 just with the all weather plastic stock. What finually got me is 1) i figured out how to add iron sights to the gun - EVERYTHING I own has iron sights since this is how i shoot them almost exclusively. 2) I found out I can get a wood replacemrnt stock in Realtree Camo for the gun for just $30 from Gamo USA. I always wanted a camo rifle now this one will be a camo 22 with iron sights. what more could a man want?

I like the all weather plastic stock that's on my black shadow, but at the same time I also have always wanted a camo stocked gun.  I wasn't aware a camo stock was available from Gamo for a mere $30.00, I may look into that.  As for the iron sights, I like iron sights as well , but unfortunately with my eyesight a scope is pretty much a necessity.  Well, enjoy your rifle
