Camo ideas

well, this is directed mainly towards shadow (Ed), but looking for other inputs as well.

this is what i'm thinking.

Drab military olive green background.

the overlay, to be a combination of Squirrel heads, Rabbit heads, Deer antlers, and flushing Quail/grouse
mixed in colors from Dark Tan, Darker Drab Green, Brown, mix?

and to top it off, Squirrel, Rabbit, and Bird footprints/tracks pitter/patter'd all over it in neat little game trails...

i think it would look awesome!

Animal camo hmmm now there's a idea.:) You would want the critter's to stand out with lighter highlites and detail with each critter. Maybe make like a game trail that weaves it's way around the critter's throughout the whole stock and branch's off here and there with the game track's. Would take some time to layout a design but would be cool.:) Ed

I like that silhouette idea on the animals and with them scattered throughout the stock it would blend in the wood's at a distance. Almost a digi animal camo, instead of little squares use critters. I will have to take this to the ol sketch pad and see what I can scribble out, may be on to something buddy.:) Ed

honestly i like the whole idea.  the footprints seems awesome as well, probably pretty darn hard however, i apologize if this comes out to difficult.  i think the combination of both, the silhouettes, and the footprints of the different animals seems interesting..  feel free to throw in anything, Elk, Moose, Bighorn Sheep, i just started with AG game, doesn't have to be AG game... ok deer and coyote not "Typical AG game"  ok here goes all the dragon .50 cal guys chiming in, i know i know, a guy killed a buffaloe with a 50 cal dragon.... just saying!!!!

i feel blessed to have won the paint job, i'm going to take full advantage of the oportunity... and spread the word to my military buddies about Ed's custom work... that is if he wants more work.... :-D
