RWS SUPER POINT EXTRA
« on: February 17, 2009, 03:26:07 AM »
I saw these pellets while looking for a squirrel.
I thought they were super fine looking and would be top notch.
They are the very worst shooting of all I've tried .
They won't chamber smooth like others.
Predators and and rockets shoot near one hole groups at 30yds.
Superpoints shoot worse than 8"groups?
I could have gotten  a thousand of better for less than 500 useless pellets.
I bet these would work better in RWS guns, not mine though.

Usually (Not all the time) the pointed pellets don`t shoot good.  I don`t have the RWS Superpoints....but I`ve the Crosman Premier Super Points....and they don`t perform well in any of my air rifles.  Heck....the cheapy Crosman Hunting (Dome) and WadCutters perform better than those Super Points......   I`ll try the Super Points in my Crosman 1377 pistol.....maybe the lower velocity works better with them.

so far, in the 177 disco, some of the most accurate pellets, are the lower priced ones.  the crosman 7.9 hp, 7.9 pointed and the 10.5 domed. the discovery 10.5 hp all shoot very well. only have 10 yds to shoot in and all of them will make one hole groups at that range.  neither the 177 or the 22 seem to like wad cutters or sharply pointed pellets.  john
