Hey Scott,
BKL mounts are excellent mounts to say the least, I have one of them on a Shadow .177, but they are in the 50 - 60 dollar range. Don't get me wrong,,, they are well worth the money but for $19 bucks I can get an Accushot 1 piece mount that I know will work well (I have several rifles with the Accushots and have had no problems).
If you feel you want, or need, one of the BKL drooper mounts by all means get it, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it, but I'm a firm believer in keeping things simple,,, if I can

and if I can save almost $40 bucks doing it so much the better.
Me personally, I don't see the sense in paying extra for a drooper mount if the scope will adjust well without it. Maybe others feel differently about it, but that's my take.
