Will a CO2 gun work in the fall 45 degrees.
I am thinking of going Co2 but I have heard you cant use it in the cold, how cold when it will not work, I know little to zero about co2.

That's a little chilly for Co2 Stu. The efficiency and power really starts to drop off as it drops below 65 degrees. Temps between 70-85 degrees or about the best optimum for them but they will function. There are others far better versed in that area than I though. Kinda the reason they are called a "fair weather" gun by some.

Thanks Bob I am thinking of getting a Co2 gun from MAir, I am unsure of the co2 deal, I have heard some guy are just going to HPA, they are using 1000psi from what I hear or maybe 900psi, from what I understand you dont have to go to 3000psi to get good power in the winter.

I love CO2 guns INDOORS! But don't care as much for them outdoors.
When I worked in Mexico and lived on the border in California, my son and I would go out shooting ground squirrels and lizards with CO2 guns. You could only reliably shoot CO2 outdoors in the winter there (the Baja Desert). Temps during the day were 60-75 or so. Along about May, temps started upwards....and the guns got less effecient. By June they were worthless outdoors. At 105-120 degrees in the daytime, the valves just wouldn't work very well on them. If you didn't get out and out valve-lock, you might get a weak shot off.
We moved back to Ohio, now the CO2 guns are not so great outdoors in the fall and winter, great in spring, iffy in summer.
I love CO2 guns!!!  I own a bunch of them and use them mostly indoors. But the temp thing has had me shooting springers, pumpers, or PCP mostly when I go outdoors.

Hmmmmmmmmm.  CO2 guns seem to work best at temperatures that I work best at.  LOL.

It is possible to get a CO2 gun to work well in the cold, with some different springs and very thin lubes I have gotten a .22 QB-78 to produce 600 fps at around 35 degrees, It was modded to there and back to do it though. In extreme heat (85 to 100) a very weak spring in the valve and a couple thin shims on the hammer spring will give fair results also.

Allen, most days in Tx are hot, even in winter LOL, 02 works well except in  Aug & Sept, too hot and humid to shoot outdoors then ;-(.  I have shot 02 on christmas day before, course it was 85 at the time.
