12 Pack-Rack
« on: March 04, 2009, 07:47:10 AM »
And no I did not drink a 12 pack wile bulding it, it holds 12 guns He he
I think it came out good , One problam is you cant put guns with BIG scopes next to each other unless you flip flop them or go every other, smaller scopes I think will fit fine.

Fantastic!!! Thats a great idea. I've been thinking of building something like that to hold most of my babies all in one spot. I think the wife would appreciate it too...instead of them propped up in all the corners of the house!!! Good work Phil....I like the pipe and flange idea...cheap enough for an unemployed guy like me to afford. Is it a lazy susan type bottom that spins?

Yup a 12" 1000 lb lazy Susan bearing, Got my ideas from here..

Between the two that is what I came up with. I like the round holes for the top so you don't have to use a bungee cord to hold the barrels if you spin it fast..
I made a smaller one for Dave 1899

And I'm doing this because I'm also unemployed when it snows here. So far it has been only a couple weeks and should be back full time soon, so I tinker to stay busy.
This one does not have a home yet and I don't need a 12 gun one YET!!!!

He He show that daisy some love , I keep that one around incase big brother comes knocken, If you know what I mean.
As for the rack I made it for some one else , they can finish it , paint the pipe and flanges ,then put felt on it .
It may end up in the classified section.
When I made Dave 1899's rack I bought 2x the material .
