Got an early start on things this week as I have a busy few days ahead of me.   Started out by experimenting with the new"old" RWS.34 that just attached itself to my collection ... my forst springer in several years.  This was the first competitiive score I've shot with a springer in over 25 years - lol.   My last "Iron Sights" competition was over 3 years ago ... smallbore at CMP Nationals .... took a Gold !   I threw one shot on Bull#2 when the apparent 8-9lb trigger pull turned into a 1# touch-off.    Overall good fun though !

All targets were shot from a sitting position on my low camp stool - again !    Tomorrow I visit the neuro-surgeon again to review "whats next" with regards to my spinal problems and lack of feeling in my legs and feet.

Score: 171 3X, Open Rifle, Match#5

The group tightened up abit with the newly installed GRT III trigger. First time in 5 matches that all my shots went into the "black"....the 18th shot (Bottom left target) almost got away from me....it just nicked the "6" ring. Was feeling good after looking through the scope (Not too much movement) so I set the scope to 6X magnification...usually I use 5X.

Gun: Crosman Storm XT, Scope: 3X9-32mm CenterPoint set at 6X, Pellet: .177 Crosman WadCutter,

Position: Stand Off-Hand, Temp: +6C no wind, Distance: 10 Meters, SCORE: 171 3X

Gamo: Expotec .177 + Big Cat .177 + Viper .177 + Whisper .177, Hammerli Titan .177, Diana model 24 .177, RWS-Diana P5 Magnum pistol .177, Crosman: G1 Extreme .177 + Storm XT .177 + Sierra Pro .177 + 1377 pistol .177, Air Arms S410SL .22, BSA Scorpion T10 .22, FX Cyclone .177, Remington Air Master 77 .177 + BB\'s,

Boy I can see the inconsistancy in my shooting after a week of little practice,...but in light of the fact,...Spring is on it's way!!!!! Still don't feel like messing with my "hunting" set-ups,...so I pulled out my MM tuned marksman for some shooting pleasure,....despite the winds. tjk
