Just joined the '350 club'
« on: January 03, 2007, 10:50:27 AM »
I have just received my verification email from Midsouth and my new RWS 350 is on the way! Will be here on Friday....can hardly contain the excitement. Wife doesn't know though, that could be an issue. I wont be mounting a scope to it right away for fear of destroying any scopes. I have a RWS 36 with a Tasco AO variable on it mounted with the old C- mount which I messed up by stripping a screw. It was holding fine until that point. I've got one of those Golden Antler scopes...does anyone think that it is capable of handling the recoil? I'll see how it shoots with open sights to get a feel for it first. Maybe a chrony run on Saturday to see if results are typical to what others have posted, should be fun. Can't wait, dammit......wait....oh yeah......the wife doesn't know.....bigger dammit! Friday is gonna be fun!!!

Well congratulations anyway!!

I really hope you'll enjoy it as much as some of us here enjoy ours.

Be patient with it.  Be prepared for some serious power too.

D'you get a .177 or .22?

I hope your  don't get let down like Ii did. I bought a 350 in a .177and  when I chronyed it  ,it was around 850 to 890 as advertised 1250 ft per second I did this at Rich's house[peterdrigan] since then I returned it  with no problem to ontarget and got the 48 in a 22  nowI wouldn't trade it for nothing.

I forgot to mention That it was the 22 version I ordered as I already have a 36 in 177 that I feel has awesome power for a 177 anyway. It was doing low to mid 9's last time I cronied if I remember correctly and that was with CP's I believe.
